Trim Trail

We are proud to announce that our Trim Trail has been installed by Designer Parks Ltd. Many thanks to Mr Middleton and Mr Hitchcock from Fairwood Trust and the Friends of Pendoylan Church in Wales School for funding the project. We are sure the children will enjoy the equipment for many years.

Trim Trail

The Eco School Committee have been working hard on a challenge to design a new trim trail for the school field. The winners of the challenge are Amalie and Grace from Year 6.  Designer Parks Ltd have created images of their Trim Trail design...

A big thank you to Barry Hitchcock and Charles Middleton from Fairwood Trust for donating £2000. Friends and the pupils have been busy raising money to contribute to the cost of the Trim Trail.

Work starts on Monday 16th September ....

Bags2schools

Thank you for donating clothes, shoes, blankets and soft toys. We've managed to collect 75 bags and we have received £180!! Let's see if we can collect more bags next time and earn a few more pounds. We will be using the money to create a log circle for our outdoor learning area.

Bags 2 Schools

Huge thanks to everyone who filled a bag and supported our clothes recycling scheme. The Eco committee counted and we had collected 75 bags... sounds like a good spring clearout! Each bag is valuable as we receive payment for amount collected... we will let you know how much we have made as soon as we can.

Our next collection of bags will be in November so please look out for the bag when we send them home.

Pendoylan's Wild Flower Meadow

On Monday Eco - committee rolled their sleeves up, pulled their wellies on and got busy planting 2 kilos of wild flower seeds. We don't want to spoil your bank holiday but ... Miss Norton and Mrs Jones have their fingers crossed for RAIN!!!

A big thank you to Mr Harford for digging out the banking in order for the children to sow the seeds.

Also, thanks to the Friends for kindly purchasing the seeds.

Putting down roots!

Welcome to Pendoylan's Eco-blog! We thought it was important to introduce our Eco committee, with representatives from Year 1 to Year 6... and here they are!

Following an eco school review , it has been decided to focus on the improvement of the school grounds whilst also working on daily eco issues.
